The flags of the three countries, Japan, Austria and Peru can be seen in the outer frame. The symbol in the middle means "Heart" in Japanese ("Kokoro"). The "Jo" form stands for Joana. That's why my passion is called "Jokokoro".

Joana Toshimi

I was born in Lima, Peru, to Japanese parents.

 

I emigrated to Japan when I was seventeen and I lived in Tokyo for eight years, until love brought me to Austria.

 

My mother is an excellent cook, and from her I inherited my enthusiasm and passion for cooking. With Jokokoro, I turned my hobby into my profession. 

 

My motto in life: "Never give up, follow your heart and always with a big smile on your face"
